VICTORY SC (Valuable Impact through Community Training: Occupational Readiness for Youth) is a collaborative effort between the SCDE’s Office of Special Education Services and the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department, with support from the Office of Career Technology Education.
The goal is to provide services designed to increase career readiness aligned to the South Carolina Accountability Standards and promote improvement as reflected on LEA school report cards.

Eligibility

Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be of transition age. 
    • At least 13 years old and have not yet reached their 22nd birthday.
  • Be enrolled in an educational setting.
    • Upon exit, students are no longer eligible for VICTORY SC.
  • Be considered a ‘student with a disability’ who is either:
    • Eligible for and receiving special education or related services under IDEA; or
    • An individual with a disability for the purposes of section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
